Supercell is a mobile game development company based in Helsinki, Finland, with offices in San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Beijing. It was founded on May 14, and its debut game was the browser game Gunshine.net. Since then, the company has released five mobile games: Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars. In meteorology, a supercell is a type of thunderstorm that contains a deep and persistent rotating updraft called a mesocyclone. Supercells are the least common type of thunderstorm, but they have a high propensity to produce severe weather, including damaging winds, very large hail, and sometimes weak to violent tornadoes. Supercells are visually identified by a well-defined wall cloud, a rain-free base, a rear flank downdraft, and distinctly separate updraft and downdraft regions.
